| Re: Car & Driver: Volkswagen Rabbit tops comparison I don't know why they're still using the old 2.5L 5-cylinder engine in the Rabbit, it produces the same power as a 2.0FSI 4-cylinder...  Nevertheless, one up for VW. |

Note that base models of MK.IV Golfs/Jetta still used the old 2.0L 8V petrol engine up until 2005!!!! That's an engine from the late 80s! | |
