Oh confused 300(187*1.609) with 322(1.609*200) well then the S7 is mighty fast.

I just want to mention in the video and writings they mention the GT to have 774nm
but its just a typo right since its rated at 674 everywhere

This is also something I noticed as well, Sport Auto also lists the Ford GT at having 774Nm..

Well cuz then that whould explain the huge gap that develops between it and the Z06 comparing 0-250 and 0-300.

Well, it's max power is at 7750 rpm, so in 7th gear...maybe 330 kph...

This test has been brought up in every forum ive been a part of.

my first reaction to the 599's performance when Quattroruote tested it was "***? no way". then I was told the car was a pre production Ferrari and that they had some unnamed tires. either way, this second test showed the same result. again, I was skeptical (sp?). 0-200 in 10.3 seconds? that the best ive seen an Enzo do. the 599 has nothing but slightly faster gear changes on the Enzo. it has less power, more weight, both are rwd, it has less torque and inferior weight distribution.

This same red Ferrari 599 was given to every magazine to test for a reason; it would do what the production 599s (the customer cars) couldnt.
Then AMS and Autozeitung got their hand on customer cars and the turned out numbers that were next to identical to Ferrari's claim of 0-200 in 11 flat.

I know im sounding more and more like a fanboy but bare with me please.

I also knew the 599 had nothing on the SLR. no one beleived me. they all raved about the "technology" and how it made is a superior car. again the SLR has more power very simular weight and tons more torque. it also has an automatic transmission which = perfect shift every single time. its only downfall to the 599 is the fact that the 599 has one more gear.

recently a video of an SLR vs 599 race was posted. the SLR won both races and it did so by a respectable margin.

thus, in tests where this mystery 599 was not involved, the results showed that is was slower than the SLR, Enzo and CGT. in the two or three tests where the car used was this red 599 with the 5point star rims, the results showed that the car was faster than both the SLR and CGT and as fast as an Enzo.


dont get me wrong, the 599 is a greeat car. looks great (others are better but its nothing ugly) and it sounds great. everyone called me a lambofanboy for being skeptical of the 599's performance but slowly and surely the truth is coming out; the 599 is not faster than an SLR.
