AutoBild: Porsche Cayman S vs 911 Carrera.

The Porsche Cayman S attacks its larger brother 911 Carrera. How painful is the bite?

Re: AutoBild: Porsche Cayman S vs 911 Carrera.

I guess it's a tough choice. I learnt something though: That the 911 Carrera is nicknamed Baby Elfer.

Re: AutoBild: Porsche Cayman S vs 911 Carrera.

I guess this is one of those moments where tossing a coin with a friend to see who gets what can only have a happy outcome. I'd take either. In a heartbeat, as long as I could choose the colour.

Re: AutoBild: Porsche Cayman S vs 911 Carrera.

I`d go with the 911 Carrera, it`s the better car. This is like offering to choose between the SLK55 or SL55 I like both but I know the SL is just better!

Naah man, with the cayman and carrera its different. The Cayman offers better handling and the carrera offers more power. Therefore it is wrong to say that the Carrera is better.

Yes and no Luw, whilst I'll agree with you that the Cayman is probably the better handler and faster accelerating car of the two, I'd also say that the Carrera is the better car - as a matter of personal opinion - simply because it's a 911. Not logical, not even close but still, even Porsche would have us think this way. Oh, and the 911 is still prettier too!

Re: AutoBild: Porsche Cayman S vs 911 Carrera.

What do you take me for Martin? Off course I prefer the 911 but still the Cayman also deserves some cred for its unique driving characteristics.
