Motor Trend: M5 VS CLS55 AMG (Part II)

I got a chance to read the review and I thought it was a fair one. Cheers to the M5 for nailing it

M6 handles better than the M5, all european carmags have said so. Also the M6 is sportier and faster than M5.

Re: Motor Trend: M5 VS CLS55 AMG (Part II)

I will take the beautiful black CLS55 AMG please.

The M5 is just too complicated, even though it's the better car.

The CLS55 AMG is more simple, sounds, looks better and is just as fast and good to drive as the M5.

Complicated? How? CLS55 does indeed sound nice.

Complicated for some yes and for some no. For some there are a learning curve and once you know it, then its not complicated at all. I bet if you used it for a while you wouldnt say complicated.

I agree on the last sentence

"One blast in the CLS55, and you'll feel like you've been there, done that. One sortie in the M5, and you'll want more."

M5 and CLS55 are two different cars to drive with a different driving experience.

Re: Motor Trend: M5 VS CLS55 AMG (Part II)

The M5 is a hell of a performer but we have to remember that the CLS isn't built to conquer tracks. Just like an aston martin, it's is built to perform but also for the sake of elegance and style.
It's not about how fast you get to your destination, it's about how you look when get there.

Re: Motor Trend: M5 VS CLS55 AMG (Part II)

Discuss the design is utterless pointless. People have different taste and there are no rights or wrong about design. Im not a huge fan of CLS, I rather pick E55.
