Actually not that spectacular. Take a look inside them, there are no luxury and not a beautiful interior. Its all about driving, its all about rawness. Remember the comparison between a EVO and a Zonda S. Not even Zonda could match the car in driving dynamics. Imagine a 600hp EVO, many supercars would be on trouble.

After reading the last page (only) it looks like they were mostly interested in lap times. If the article was the best AWD, then who cares about lap times? If you want lap times let's see Porsche's top track dog (GT3) vs. Mitsu's top track dog (Evo IX) and pick a winner. I can catch and pass Evos all day long on the track in my GT3 but have not had a single one stay with me. I have to laugh at the amount of body roll as I drive whatever line I want behind them because they corner so sloppy. Lets not even mention the experience of going to a Mitsu dealer to buy one...

the first page says, "Power of 4" so I dont think it about best AWD although thats what I wrote in the first post but they describe how the systems works.

The price for Rs4 is 49,980 pound and EVO for 32,999 pound and 62.930 pound for the porsche. The EVO is a real bargain here if you are looking for ultimate driving experience. This is not even the fastest EVO that exist. This version does 0-60 in 4.3 sec, not bad.

Evo is a plain jane car, i have seen them run and their pretty fast, but with other track competitors the Porsche would rip them up. Especially the higher end ones like the GT3 our good doc has mentioned. Topgear has a video with the Evo, and it handles crappy on turns. Against other little toys in its category perhaps its awesome, but when put up against the bigger boys it wont last. As for power, yes its fast in a straight line...

Dont get me wrong its great for the money, but other than that, its nothing really to die for.

Not everyone can afford a Gt3, to be honest its a huge pricedifference therefore an EVO is a good choice if you want a track car but cant afford a Gt3.
Also there are all kind of modifications for your EVO. Im not an EVO guru and I would choose a RS4 or a Carrera over EVO but there is many tuning options for your EVO. One Japanese dude took an EVO close to 8 minutes around Nordschleife and how many cars in that pricerange can do so. Underestimating a car is always dangerous.

Not underestimating, but not preffering. We have a Mitsu store and they sell out like nothing i have ever seen, but nontheless for a track its not my preference, its more of a kick ass street car with rediculous pull.

What do you mean not everyone can afford a GT3 . How many people you know got one, that actually run track? Thats its sole purpose i feel.
