Re: Motortrend: M5 vs CLS55

Even when the CLS and the E class get updated to the 63 AMG engines they still wont be as fast around a track as the M5. I predict faster lap times out of the M5 even with updated engines and suspension from the AMG guys. (I always say things twice and re-word the second sentence for some reason -that must get annoying)

p.s. I drove the M5 for the first time today!! Oh and the 5 series is a very good looking car. If you can't admit that then maybe you need to take another look. THe 5 series is beautiful and personally i think its the best looking bimmer at this time.

p.s #2: the CLS IS UGLY. AND MERCEDES IS OUT OF THEIR MIND IF THEY THINK THEYVE CREATED A NEW MARKET SEGMENT. the E class is a lot better looking IMO.

Re: Motortrend: M5 vs CLS55

Yea yea yea, f*ck the track, 63 AMGs will kick some *ss! 5 series is not ugly, but I wouldnt say that it looks very beautifull.... Still I think the e39 looks better (I dont say it because Ive one , e39 looks just so much more sporty from the front....

can see that the CLS is ugly from the salesnumbers

Re: Motortrend: M5 vs CLS55

i like the rawness and agressive looks of the M5 so i might choose that .. but the CLS is hot to.. hard choice
both are damn fast in a straight line.. and handles more than well for norman roads..
and thats where i drive my 4 door saloons not on the track..
so i dont give a damn about track times for 4 door cars.. really..
