i also realizze that this is quite unfair.......especially with the E500 but what other german car is it gonna compete with.it cant compete with the E55 or M5 or it will be bashed.

I'm surprised how many people voted for the E500 which is, as Merc1 said, toast compared to the others. The engine is almost antique. Crazy indeed...

Come on, the E500 isn't that bad. The only problem with the car might be the slight aged exterior.

Well some of us Benz fans won't admit that the E500 is outgunned here, though until the E550 comes out with the new V8 I don't think this poll is really fair. The E is still IMO the best looking car in this class with the A6 being the only car that competes with it in that area. The S6 though is something of a misfit IMO. I can't compete with the E55 or M5 and it has way more power than the 550i and upcoming E550. Kinda like the Jaguar S-Type R.

Does the S6 sport a rear-bias quattro system like the RS4? Or the regular quattro that should never be fitted on a S/RS model?

Thats a good point. BTW the S type R is a peice of crap! Ford threw a taurus chassis on that and a big stupid V8.

BTW jag thinks they can compete with the 650 and the SL500 with their XK....I dont think so haha.

On the whole this forum is extremely civilized in comparison to a myriad of other places for automotive discourse, so I do not have much to lament about.
