Thats about it, I think, and by that it seems it has about as much in common with the M3 as it has with the Mercedes CL.

I know but what I wanted to point out is that it's more practical than the 911, Cayman, Viper and Z06.

Re: Will BMW Bow Down To The NISSAN GTR???

Why would BMW bow down to the Nissan GTR?-Thats retarded. Not simply because the GTR is a LOW PRODUCTION CAR but more so because the GTR wont outsell or even come near M3 in sales. Any company can build a really fast car---koeniggsegg, ascari, Pagani, etc. However making a high productioini supercar is a completely different story. I'd be willing to guess that the GTR is not on a production line-and only a few thousand will be made-perhaps im wrong tho.

Oh yea, and making an M3 awd is the dumbest idea ever mentioned in these forums---anybody here could tell you that.

I got an even better question. Will the ZR-1 bow down to GT-R Nismo V-Spec II? Don't underestimate Godzilla.

Re: Will BMW Bow Down To The NISSAN GTR???

guys, according to a dyno of the GTR, its making 480 awhp. thats around 550-600 crank hp. this perfectly explains the 0-60 and 1/4 mile time and the Nring time that HvS got (7:50, which fits other cars in its weight and power catagory like the Murcielago, 599 and SLR).

before I was doubting that the car could do what they claimed with 473 hp, but it is doing them, just with maybe 100 more hp.

That makes perfect sense cause with "only" 480 HP I cant see how its possible to go from 0-100 km/h in 3,3 sec..at least with this car..

To further that line of question; will the GT-R Nismo V-spec II bow down to the ZR-1 press cars?
