Of course I am.

Isn't this one lovely poll?

But seriously ... I just wanted to point out the difference between the two cars. It's evident they will differ much more than the current cars do. MB more classic elegant (going back to more rectangular shapes), BMW more sporty (wedgy shape, coupeish stance).

Like I said before: 5er going more coupe way, while E-class & A6 are not: due not to overlap with CLS & upcoming A7. 5er has no such issue, since there's no 4dr coupe based on 5er platform. 8er will be much bigger & more expensive: positioned above 7er.

Therefore 5er is moving away from E-class & A6, coming closer to Jaguar XF (and according to rumors new Infiniti M & Lexus GS are going the same way as well).

@klier: I'll give you an answer regarding 5er vs XF in the 2010 5er thread. Please wait.

The GS is already built like a loaf, will it be more like a tea cake?

Re: 2009 E-class vs 2010 5-series

I wanted to vote.
But I can't.

How the hell could I recognize the Beemer from the Merc under this camo, and without the logo on the grille?

Re: 2009 E-class vs 2010 5-series

Okay, I got it.
The one with less camo is the Beemer, it has a double-kidney grille.
And the other, withi one single chromed grille, is the Mercedes. Funny, the Mercedes has a fake e65 rear .

I tought the E-Class was supposed to hit the market before the 5er, why does it has more camo on it?

(J/K of course.)
