Audi A3 cabrio vs. BMW 1er cabrio - Page 4

My prelimenary vote would have to go the 1-Series. Better engines, better chassis and RWD. The Audi does look better top down, but the BMW looks better top up. The Audi comes off as a cheap economy car overall, more like it should be a VW, not an Audi. What what the Audi would cost here in the U.S. I'd rather have an Eos or Volvo C70. Audi has the better interior, but the BMW is going to smoke it out on the road, especially the 135i.

This color ans S-line for me, and I'll be very happy.
1er looks way to girlie. It's to cute. At least A3 is agressive. And it absolutely destroys the Beemer in interior design and quality!

I read some very aggressive and flaming comments in the previous pages. What happened to your humor guys? Those are only two cars , it's not like our life depends on them or something!

PS. Zanax is a great chill pill , i also use them.

The A3 reminds me of the A4 convertible, a hack job to make a quick buck -draft in some LED lights and tail lights from another model and call it quits. And I doubt it will fair any better in the market than the A4 convertible.

A3 aggressive? Where? To me it is the ultimate girls car and about as aggressive as a teddy bear.

I would dissagree on this,mate..Design is a matter of personal preference(someone likes it,other hates it) and quality isn´t..IMO 1er interior is atleast on same level as A3,if not even better..As a matter of fact,I see 1er interior best in whole current BMW production car range at the moment

Do you have specs on the 220-hp TDI? Block material? Consumption/C02?
How about a remap of a 135i?...

Funny how the 1-Series, often derided for being ugly with Bangled surfaces, "startled" headlights and sagging beltline, suddenly looks cute and appealing to chicks.
