Mofo works.

On a more serious note, and for anyone curious: It represents the given names of the Wiesmann brothers: Martin and Freidhelm.

Re: "Shadowed" Supercars

Strangely Alfa does not advertise on the 8C, I had forgotten it completely! Why don't they capitalize on it? Nobody even knows its existence (or I am so German and British-biased that I don't even see it...).

Look at the rear, I never realized but...It really looks like a face! A sad face here! With two big eyes and a crying mouth!

^^I don't want to complain about the Alfa, but I don't understand why they have not used chrome around the rear window too

Good question, but I just made a quick check and neither the Brooklands, Phantom or CL600 has a chrome border around the rear window.

With the limited production of 500 cars it would be pointless to advertise the car since it was sold out since way back.

But Like you Raoul. I don't get it either why Alfa isn't milking this baby. Give it the same price as the Vantage and R8 and it will easily outsell both of them. The design is epic and emotional with so immense passion involved. Along with the DBS it's at the top of my list of the best designed cars this year.

Yes right, only 500, but it is an image-polisher car. They could let people see it, make a bit of noise about it, let people know Alfa can do such a beautiful car, use it to enhance their image! Instead of that, nobody knows it and Alfa does not use it to polish its image, I don't get it.

It is a beautiful car, that screams "the good old time are back at Alfa".

Here is a beautiful, 100% Alfa supercar that they should use as flagship and image-carrier...

Using the C8 as an image enhance would make sense if Alfa had good cars to offer. A person drooling over a C8 ad in a magazine would be disappointed walking into an Alfa dealer discovering that their line-up is quite unsatisfying.

Even though I like the 159 it and the rest of the Alfas get mediocre reviews. IMO Alfa has done a poor job rivaling the Germans. Where is our M3 killing Scuderia version of the 159??
