A6 avant has more traction and it's safer due to quattro and 5 stars EuroNCAP. Also i bet the testers say that it's better built and has bigger spaces. So A6 wins in some aspects , 5 wins in some others. A6 is my winner although i would gladly take a 5 also.

Watch the video again, it's in one of the threads I started as well as on the second page. In the handling test (cones), the A6 had massive body roll and it was sliding around a lot more than the 5er. But like you said, I would glady take the A6 as well.
