Re: M3 is 30% more expensive than C63 in Hong Kong. Worth it?

Prices are from the respective Hong Kong manufacturers websites.

335i does look good comparatively good and exactly my point - no way is it half the car of an M3!

I should also add that the new R8, due to demand, is priced the same as a 997 Turbo. No contest here as far as I'm concerned.

But the creme of the crop has to be the Boxster which is priced at 722K ( - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER).

BTW just to give you guys the premium we are paying here in Hong Kong. An M3 is valued at US$175,000 (think what you can get for this price in US, Europe). However cars in Hong Kong, believe it or not, is cheaper than Singapore/Malaysia/Australia and a few other countries in Asia.

You guys have it lucky!

30% more is way to much in this matter. Go for the Benz.

Re: M3 is 30% more expensive than C63 in Hong Kong. Worth it?

Well I think you should get the car which speaks to you the most. I assume that if you're even considering the M3 or C63 AMG, the money isn't much an issue, right?

Get the car you like best. Testdrive them, feel them out, read reviews and decide.

And when you get one of them, please post some pictures for us to drool over!

Re: M3 is 30% more expensive than C63 in Hong Kong. Worth it?

uk prices are cheap. the strength of the sterling particulalry in the last few weeks. however hong kong is a lot cheaper than places such as singapore and malaysia.

to give you an idea the m3 is priced at usd175k in hong kong. in singapore it is well over usd200k.

so 30 percent is actually quite alot in this situation.

just think what u can get for usd 175k...
