Re: Loaded BMW M3 CSL does 7:22 on Nürburgring!

Anyone with an onboard vid?

And this bit always bothers me, where do people time the lap from?
Clarkson timed at the bridge, Pagani right at the end and Hans Stuck on the GP track's finish line. There has to be one universal? Same goes for starting the timing...

Re: Loaded BMW M3 CSL does 7:22 on Nürburgring!

kudos to Loaded... This is a great achievment.
BTW, EDO/radicals... The M3 is in the same league as the Edo (heavily tuned existing car but street legal), the Radical is a race car unplug.

Loaded does not want to breach all the records or so what: the are faster than the fastest stock supercars, now they want to be the fastest of the street legal cars... They don't want to top the F1, of course.
It's like Opel claiming the OPC are the fastest of their class: they don't mean the fastest cars ever, only faster than competition from the same category...

Beating the Edo would be a record; beating the CGT with a M3, even heavily tuned with double the stock power, is also something worth mentionning!!!

This lap is the same as used by Sport Auto (20,6 km). The BTG time was 6,55.

I think the Sport Auto lap is quite common, there is a lap that is 20,8 km too.
