Tough choice but I would have to agree with the above. Never mind that it's big and probably does not handle like the other two, I'm sure riding in luxury and feeling that something happens when you press the accelerator is plenty to compensate for the thrill of driving the other two better handling cars.
The choice is based on the assumption that I can just pick one of the cars and not pay for it. If I had to pay for them I probably couldn't get any of them, at least not the one I chose.

Re: Three kings

Three awesome cars,..but it's fairly simple for me to cast my vote. ..the M5.

I'm not the type to fuss about which car can do the 1/4 mile the quickest because all these cars have exceptional acceleration potential. I ain't gonna pick the car which has the fastest time on the 'Ring, because they're all head and shoulders above most cars when you get behind the wheel. ...and im not going to base my decisions based on which car is the most comfortable to sit in.. coz heck, we're comparing a BMW, a Benz and an Audi..there's no need to get picky just coz your butt cheeks feel a tiny bit better in the S-class.

If I ever was fortunate enough to get to own one of these sports-sedans, my decision would be based on two things: aesthetic appeal and the joy of driving.
I'm not one for thrashing a car hard, nor would I cruise around showing off my ride. I enjoy driving... driving to the shops down the street, to the beach or to the mountains... and therefore, out of these three vehicles I'd opt for the car which delivers the most enjoyment when sitting behind the wheel.
I haven't had the pleasure of driving the M5, but the reviews are enough to persuade me that the M5 is a supreme driving machine.
Looks are subjective...and for me the M5 simply can't be matched in terms of visual appeal.

Sure the S65 is fastest down the quarter-mile and has better comfort...and maybe the RS4 will be quicker round a track... but the M5 is... ummm... an M5..an icon.. and that alone is something the other 2 are yet to established. IMO the M5 is the better driver's car..and looks the best.

Re: Three kings

Thats a good point. You have to choose a car that you get the most personal satisfaction out of, whether thats driving down a street and everyone staring at you or bragging to your buddies about stats your car can perform, or maybe its simply driving pleasure. What ever car it is, you choose it based on the satisfaction youll get for the price. And the Boi gets satisfaction out of driving pleasure...

Hahahaha.. yup! You got that right. Each car has more than enough comfort. Each car has more than enough performance...so it comes down to which car drives best for me and looks the best to me. For me, M5 wins.

The S65 may have that devastatingly powerful engine, but I can't imagine that car being able to hustle it's weight through corners as well as the M5 could, and yes the RS4 could do it better than the M5, but the RS4 (like the E46 M3) is just a bit too small for my liking.

One thing is fore sure, no one builds performance with 4-doors overall like the Germans. These three cars are fantastic!

I would use the RS4 for track days if i were you.
