Autobild: 911 Carrera S vs Vantage V8

AM / 911

Brakes cold/warm from 100 km/h 37.6/36.9 m 34.5/34.2 m
Accelerate. 0-100/0-200 km/h 5.2/17.2 s 4.7/16.1 s
Elasticity 60-100/80-120 km/h 5.3/9.0 s 5.2/8.9 s

AM V8:
Good available space, excellent of seats, poor visibility, well usable trunk, processing with small lack, mad sound.

Strong engine with even force development, easy comfort weaknesses, superior road performances, good brakes.

Three years warranty, good equipment, high consumption, expensive maintenance.

The Vantage V8 lands with style and achievement at first attempt in range for the Porsche, Weight and Auslegung marks it rather to the GT Coupé.

Second place.
So much exclusivity has its price, also Ford's assistance makes the noble British not more favorable. The mark image promises good worth stop.

911 S:
Pleasant space feeling with good all-round visibility, more surely, well equipped everyday life sportsman, small weaknesses in the operation, good quality.

Despite its development still a sporty yardstick: fast, easily, efficiently, exzellente brakes. Without ESP it shows Zicken.

Only two years guarantee, expensive maintenance, super plus necessarily.

The best Elfer of all times. Knackig, handily and fully everyday life-suited. To drivingdynamically hardly strike and. A dishonor: no genuine warranty.

First place.
Also in the price chapter the number one. 86,949 euro stand only on the paper, also a few extras are fast exceeded for 100,000 euro.

In Tycoon's opinion, the 911S stands no chance in terms of design vs. AM. That car is for me the most beautiful in the world, but..., but... Since the design is somwhere in the 4th or 5th place of most important things for me when i buy a car... 911 all the way!

But, the AM is faster on the ring.
Also if it would have offered CB, than AM all the way.

Vantage without R-tires is slower than the 997s around the ring.

There are R-tires and semi R-tires. R-tires isnt very good when its wet. Semi R-tires gives better grip than normaltires but they can be driven in the wet as well.
