Well I would also go for the RS4 since it's more practical, has very good handling and offers lots more raw power than the Cayman. When it comes to the 997S thing would be the other way around. I love the car and you do get more respect pulling up in a brand new Porsche than rolling in a Audi A4.

Now here I don't agree. The RS4 isn't a A4. It's two very different cars. And I would love to kick that 997 owners ass in an Audi. So then he would not be so proud of his dear Porsche.

That's not going to happen
A Porsche is a Porsche... An Audi is an Audi... you make sense of what I just said, hehe.

true. just like an regular 5er and an M5. I remember a bmw guy once that said that an M5 has only the 10% of its components form a regular 5er. The rest are developed by M division, or BMW individual

Well if we both were at a party with "our" cars the 997s and RS4 and people asked us what we drive you would need atleast 5 minutes to explain to people that you are not drving an ordinary A4. While I on the other hand wouldn't need to do any more talking than mentioning three digits 9-11.

Nah man, then I would just tell them, "it makes a 911 call 9-1-1"

Hahaha thats a good one . Unfortunately that isn't true and saying something that at a party where car enthusiasts are present might trigger a fire war and make you unpopular.

The RS4 is a very competent car but the price is too high. I should cost 60k and not 75k.

If you are at a party with car entusiasts, then you don't need to explain what an RS4 is, dear! They are supposed to know!
