Re: S350, 730i, A8 3.2 FSI

Audi has the smallest model lineup of the three and still manages to sell over 800k cars each year. Mercedes has almost 2 times more models than Audi while BMW has two SUVs (X3 and X5) and two coupes( 3 and 6 series) more. Of course i 'm not counting Q7 cause sales haven't started in most countries yet.

Thank you for coming through . I knew that sooner or later you would stop fighting that the S-class is the best car in the segment.

That might be the case... but you have to admit, the system if far from intuitive...

Is the S class that much better than the competition though? That's my question. Because if you think about it, the S class is not a quantum lead over the A8 or 7er... neither is the 3er over the C class and A4.

The S-class doesn't exactly blow the competition off the road but it is the leader and benchmark. The compeition is really stiff and if the competitors work hard enough they might beat the S-class int he future.

Well I'm not a MB fan, I'm a Porsche fan . Although the competition is stiff it will tak alot from BMW and Audi to beat the S-class. The key to it's success is innovation, offering ground breaking security and technological features leading the automotive world into a new era.
Like Jermey Clarksson said "Whenever a new S-class arrives it shows what's going to be standard i a Ford Focus in 20 years"
