Of course I have to mess with you true BMW fanatics every once and a while. A Germancar sibling rivalry if you will.

CLK might have a little doze of GT as well but it will suit the the track better than a M6 does, thats for sure. A car equipped with R-tires is a proof of that.
Black Series is like BMW's CSL versions. More trackoriented but still usably on normal roads. They are special versions of the regular version.
A M6 CSL is under construction and will be more hardcore than the M6. Just like the CLK63 BS is more hardcore than a normal CLK63.
I find this test to be different just like a M3 CSL vs C55 comparison would be.

Yes, you really are troublemaker on this board, arent you

first you say that a CLK will do better on track than a 6er..
and then you say that the crown jewel will be the M6 CSL..
now the thing im wondering is..
is the 6er a good enough track car to base a crown jewel off?
you certainly do not seem to think so..

The M6 is faster around a track than CLK63. CLK63 BS is faster than M6 around a track. For time being a M6 CLS is missing.

Im not going to argue about M6 nomore, we can have this discussion when M6 CLS arrive until then, the CLK63 BS is the sportiest car here.
And yes I pick the CLK63BS over M6. Enuff said!!

Re: Edmunds Inside Line - 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series vs. 2007 BMW M6

^still that isnt what i asked..
i asked you if you think that a CSL version based of a heavy GT wich according to you isnt much of a sportscar.. is worthy the crown over at bmw..

heck for me the upcoming M3 CSL is the closest BMW comes to supercar..

Do you mean if they can make a good sportcar based on the M6? Yep I think so!
550hp and carbonfibre together with R-tires, excellent combination
