I saw a facelifted R230 SL today. It was silver and had the E63 AMG rims and it looked stunning! Couldn't take a shot of it though as I was driving past it in the city...

I can really imagine, how it looked like!!! Did you hear the engine sound? The sound of the SL 550 is absolutely stunning - in my opinion, it's comparable to the sound of an AMG!!

Hmmm, I've been waiting for a comparo on these cars. I figured the SL would be a little underpowered compared to the Jag and the AM. All three are beautiful, sexy beasts. I'd take the SL or the AM any day. Thanks for posting!

EDIT: After looking at the article, I realized the Vantage Roadster had less horsepower than I thought...still a fast car. I had in my mind a rating of about 420hp, not 380 :S

The acceleration data of all thress cars are nearly the same! So, I don't think that the SL is underpowered. I think, the AM is just to heavy...
