Fair result! E93 Convertible should win all comparisons against CLK, even if the mag is called AMS.

The softtop has an absolutely amazing insulation and I think there are no "corners", who makes a lot of noises.

It is the first convertible test in AMS, but also autozeitung.de did a test with CLK, 3er and A4!

I've been reading in various places that direct-injection is noisier than regular port injection. Not sure how true it is, but you can definitely hear a noise from outside a Lexus GS350 for instance. Not sure if this applies to BMW, Audi, etc, but I'm going to investigate this. The 335i should be much quieter than the CLK considering it has a hardtop. That said the CLK Cabrio is a classy car, but just outdone here.

On the 1976-1985 W123 Mercedes, the fuel-injected variants (230E, 280E) were noisier than the carburated variants (230 and 280).
