In the latest AutoZeitung issue there is a compassion test between facelift BMW 530d and Mercedes E320CDI.

Anyone who knows the result from this test?

1. BMW 530d - 3 205 points
2. Mercedes E320CDI - 3 130 points

0-100km/h: BMW 7,3s, MB 7,4s
Consumtion: BMW 8,2l/100km, MB 9,8l/100km
Lap time: BMW 1:49,7, MB 1:52,3

The disparity in the FCs, is that normal?

It looks as if the 5er aced the E class!

Was this the F/Led 5er?

its FL 5-series. there been several comparisons between FL 5er and FL E-class, both cars has won some and lost some reviews. Both are good cars.

Interesting then, that they give a + pont to Mercedes for fuel economy.

I guess Christian transcription is wrong:

there should be "-" (disadvantage) for E320CDI fuel consumption, not "+" (advantage)
