Re: Which New Coupe?

I like them all but you already know which one I'd choose. It is not really a fair poll, we all know which one will win.

Re: Which New Coupe?

The S5 doesn't really excite me one bit, ok so it has a V8 but the styling is bland and boring and the whole car is a bit predicable to me. Anyone could have guessed this is what an A4 coupe looks like, and if this previews the next A4s styling I am very unimpressed.

From the currently leaked photos of the M3, it looks good from the rear, but that's about it. I sure when it's properly released, and I see it in different colours, I'll like it but in this red it doesn't look very good at all. The engine is and I'm sure when I see one IRL I'll be , but currently I'm not getting a good feeling off the car.

The CL 65 has got to be one of the best coupes out there, extremely fast, very capable, comfortable, loaded with technology and extremely powerful. The only thing is I think it's too expensive. For the amount of money it costs, I would have wanted the interior to be more special. I have no complaints about the exterior though, looks awesome.

That leaves the CLK 63 Black Series, well I really like this car, hence the reason it's my avatar. It brings the DTM looks at a much lower cost, and has a pretty powerful engine. I don't know if this is the same engine as the F1 pace car uses, but I remember the Martin Brundle saying that because of the car's huge about of power and toque, the F1 cars found it hard to keep up with the pace car though some corners. That really impressed me, and is one of the many reasons why I like this car!

Re: Which New Coupe?

Well, normally I'd go with the Audi, especially based on where I live, but I gotta go with the CL this time. However, I'd pass them all up if I could get a Brooklands.

Re: Which New Coupe?

CLK is very old and dated anymore so i am between the other three. This is how i would rate them:

1- S5
2- CL
3- M3

BTW while the M3 looks modern the rims don't fit the car well cause they look dated and uninspired.

Re: Which New Coupe?

Even though these cars don't really compete with each other, for me the choice is easy. The S5 is the only one that I truly like.

Re: Which New Coupe?

If money is no object then its CLK63 AMG Black Series for me. Otherwise the new M3 is the right choice for me. Im not 100% sold on the look yet but Im certain it will grow on me once I see it in real life. That the car is going to perform very well is no surprise for anyone.

Re: Which New Coupe?

Yep the rimms on the M3 suck..and BMW are supposed to be a great when it comes to rimms..

Anyways..

S5.. no way its to low key.. and not diffrent enough from other audis..

M3.. well its a superb car..but the looks arent 100%

CLK B.S.. as this is pure sports.. and i feel that BMW can do sports better than MB... so i wont chose..this.. allthough its so damn hot.. so its super tempting..

CL65 40edit: this is the joint right here.. this is what MB stands for multiplied by 1000
SO CL65 for me

PS
but it has to be the 40year.-.otherwise give me the CLK
