Re: Which New Coupe?

CL65 AMG:the ultimnate in everything,my choice clearly
CLK BS:very sporty and aggressive
M3:still of the best comapct coupes but the looks is not up to what AMG has to offer right now.
S5:superb car but it's not special like the other Benzes, still awesome car

Re: Which New Coupe?

Here's my order of preference:

4th - Audi S5
I'm surprised to see myself place the S5 in last place, but quite simply I find it lacking character in this group. It's a great car - looks, power and everything else, yet..

3rd - BMW M3
Yet another surprise for myself, the M3 has captured my imagination more so than the S5. Still though, It's not really my style.

So then, that leaves the two Benz's (big suprise! $%@&)

While I do prefer the exterior styling of the CL, I'm going with the CLK Black Series (which I'm more than happy with ) The CL65 is so nice, but I think it has a little too much power

Re: Which New Coupe?

The Benzes have already been releaseed for a while. These are just different versions so they don't do much for me. Having said that, the CL is one of the best looking car out there right now.

M3 for me because this is an extremely important car. Although the S5 is important as well, it's not iconic, meaning it doesn't have the same expectations as the almighty M3. It has huge shoes to fill.

Re: Which New Coupe?

Not the easiest poll, but I'm gonna have to go with the S5.

1) S5 offers the best total package in my opinion. Exterior looks pretty damn good, interior design out classes the rest of the field imo, good power to weight ratio, and most important it's affordable!

2) CL65 could of been 1st if it wasn't for the outrageous price tag! Visually appealing, interior from what I've heard is as plush as any vehicle on the market, AMG power is hard to beat!

3) M3 I'm sure it's ability to perform is hard to match as all M model cars, not the biggest fan of the new design but i'll reserve my judgement for the real thing, interior needs to improve dramatically from the previous model for me to be impressed.

4) CLK I know nothing about this car so I can't form and opinion in it.

Re: Which New Coupe?

My ideal pic would be the CLK with US seats but deep down inside me I know that if all those cars were lined up in front of me, there is no way in the world that I would be able to resist the CL65. That car is in a league of it's own, even the CL63.

Re: Which New Coupe?

Im so glad I didnt vote earlier, after seeing the M3 in several positions and a few colors than just the red one I now know I'm going to dig the M3. A real bargain compared to the others. A interlagos blue or jez-black M3 and I'm sold.

Im not even considering the CL65, I dont like big cars, the others are the perfect size for me and more involving to drive than that fat pig.

1. M3
2. CLK
3. S5

Re: Which New Coupe?

I went with the CLK black in this competition. As much as I love the M3 that CLK is just a lot more agressive and beautiful.

My choices as follows:

1. CLK-Black - beautiful and agressive at the same time. work of art.
2. M3 - Mean as motha-f__ka. exactly how I want my M cars to be.
3. CL65 - Beautiful car and the best interior. Pure sex on wheels.
4. S5 - very sexy car but doesn't have the agressiveness I require.
