No the bimmer IS NOT more powerfull it has 258 vs the MB´s 272hp
And according to the specc sheets..as this is the only thing we now as for now..they are equally quick.. so wrong again
About the fuel economy DUH!!! the engine is larger..and more powerfull..plus the car is heavier.. so ofcourse its gonna drink more
Yep the 3er is cheaper.. but arent all BMW´s cheaper than MB`s.. and hasent it been like that FOREVER..
The 3series has been the leader of the segment for a decade.. not the E90.. so whats your point? i belive it will still be the leader..
Mercedes has been strugling with quality.. SO WHAT?? does this mean that they cant improve..or that they forgot how to make gr8 cars?

about the design..its totally personall.. i could say a shit load of bad stuff about 90% of BMW´s current lineup.. but i wont..

and you really should not talk about innovations with MB

And that image allthough according to you circling down the toilett is still stronger than the BMW image..just cause BMW sells more cars..doesent mean that their Brand Image is stronger than MB

Unfortunately, I have not driven the new C-Class yet, either. But, the automotive press worldwide has given almost universal praise for the new C-Class. Is it possible that all of those professionals are so far off the mark? Conversely, is it likely that only you can see through this sham that Mercedes-Benz has perpetrated on the world? I ask these questions gently, not in order to diminish the value of your point of view.

It's true - M-B has had a lot of quality issues. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt with their new iron, though. I think they've got a pretty good handle on their previous quality problems now.

First of all, BMW doesnt even make the N52 engine with JUST 258 hp anymore-that is out of production (and you know it). Sure its in this comparison but Eni has already established that the new 330 would be equipped with BETTER fuel economy in addition to an extra 14 or so hp... Even with that knowledge, we all know that the 335i is the better car for this comparo-and it would still be cheaper than the flagship C350 and get better fuel economy.

Just because the engine is bigger doesnt mean that it has to drink more.... Look at E63 vs. M5 comparisons. Thats a lousy excuse. Even if your right, they should of used lighter materials. its not like they spent all their resources designing that "lavish" interior .

Just because BMWs have usually been cheaper than their merc counterpart doesnt mean that Mercedes SHOULD CONTINUE charging more for worse cars.. That status quo bull Sh** is probably why merc is going down the toilet and begging for a buyer for that Chrysler issue that we'll ignore for now...

No 3 series innovations??? Do i really have to answer this. How about this one: The N54 combines "High-Precision Injection, lightweight materials and fully variable VALVETRONIC valve management resulting in a thrilling rendition of efficient dynamics and superior fuel economy".
Or the fact that the 335d has the most powerful 6 pot diesel on the planet.

Well of course I mean entry-level here in the hp crazed U.S. The 228hp C300 will likely be where the current C350 is, around 260-275hp and the C350 will go over the 300hp mark.

Well they rarely bring out totally new engines with totally new cars at the same time, it is very rare for most German carmakers.

This doesn't make the car garbage or that Mercedes is going down the toilet either, per your other posts.
