I was just telling the truth man. Other than the akward exhaust pipes the design is very tight, sexy and flawless.

I'm going to have to agree, dislike those exhausts. Of course, this is just a concept.

Overall, I think it looks pretty damn good. Much improvement over the current Accord coupe (IMO)

Re: Honda Accord Coupe Concept @ 2007 NAIAS

Kinda looks an Audi mixed with something else. Honda has definitely been pouring over European car designs because this looks like no previous Honda or Accord.

You're right Merc. This car appears like a "compilation design" with cues borrowed from just about every brand under the sun. The greenhouse looks very Audi, with a touch of the pre-facelift A4 in the taillights. The C-pillar has a touch of Aston Martin, the body line has some Mercedes in it, and the headlamps - gasp - look very similar to the Hyundai Sonata.

The good news is that the car as a whole looks pretty good. We know that the silly flush tailpipes won't see production, and we can assume that most of the car is ready to go, with perhaps some different rims and a different front spoiler.

I feel dissapointed about the car's face. It's not bad, and thank God it's not "Honda-ish", but it certainly doesn't really gel with the rest of the vehicle. I think the biggest culprit is the angular, almost Scion tC-like front grille. It just seems out of place. Also, looking at some other photos, it's clear that this car has a really big front overhang. I guess the R8 can get away with it, so maybe I shouldn't gripe.

Despite my reservations, I still think this is the Honda I've been waiting for. It's not a home-run, but it's definitely good enough to push me over the edge into purchase consideration territory. Direct competitors to this car are limited, but I do have the new Altima Coupe to compare this to, and I think the Honda comes out looking good.

Hate to say it, but this might be my next car.
