  | More Honda CR-V Spy Photos (US spec)  West of the Mississippi Although this CR-V is sporting Ohio license plates, we caught this pre-production CR-V a bit west of the Mississippi. The CR-V is undergoing final testing before the all-new ute hits the dealer showrooms later this year. Still CR-V-looking with high-mounted vertical taillamps – but with no spare tire mounted on the tailgate – the CR-V becomes a "real" hatchback. The CR-V's 2.4-liter engine will be tweaked a bit for 2007, giving the new CR-V about 170 horsepower.
