New Honda S2000.

Rumors, rumores… One says that the one of the photo will be the substitute of the S2000 Sling</SPAN>. The name of the prototype is XGA and it says of him that it would have a motor V8 or V10 VTEC and integral traction SH-AWD. The truth surprises east change in size and category reason why in the forums of CarSpyShots also speaks of which this prototype would be between the S2000 and the NSX.
The present S2000 Sling </SPAN>is of quite an apparently inferior size, has an atmospheric motor 2,0 of 240 cv and a price of 41,000 euros.

S2000 replacement with a V8 or V10? Seems highly unlikely, that would boost the price to new heights and that would mean facing some very heavy competition. What Honda should do is more of an MX-5 competitor, with a slightly less complex engine and lower price than the current model.

And that pic? Looks like something out of Korea.

Looks like a TT/Crossfire. The current S2000 has been praised by many people and is very popular in the UK. The car in the picture looks hot and hopefully the new model would be out soon, with a much better and more detailed interior than the current one.

isn't the next nsx already getting a 10 cylinder? why would they give the s2k 10 cylinders?

The pic does look like that red 4-door sedanish concept thing that people rumoured was a pointer to the next Accord (Euro). I'm not really surprised.

However, what's with this V8/V10 business? Maybe they mistook it for the NSX replacement. What's the point of an S2000 with that?

The largest an engine should be is a V6, maybe 3.0L. Even then, it'd be a far cry from the current S2000's essence, that of lightweight sportiness.
