***2006 Volkswagen Eos***

This car has been out for quite some time, but only now did I see my first one - and it was at the local Audi-VW dealership. Cute car. The interior looks amazing and although I have not driven one yet (and probably never will), it looks like a fun car.

It looks really small in those pictures, unfairly small.

Saw it the other day and it looked pretty good.

It's almost the same size with a E46 3 series cabrio so i wouldn't call it small.

Thanks for the pics wimmer.

Re: ***2006 Volkswagen Eos***

You wouldn't guess it by looking, but the Eos has very decent rear quarters. In fact, I'd call it a serious selling point. It's not much of a sports car, but it can accomodate 4 adults with a resonable amount of wiggle room.

The interior looks very attractive. I especially love those air vents.

Re: ***2006 Volkswagen Eos***

Well we in the U.S. just got our demo models in for test drives and such, it really is a charming little car. Only if VW had provisioned the Golf/Rabbit/Jetta/Eos platform for the new 3.6L V6! Ugh. A R36 version of the Rabbit/Golf/Jetta and a 280hp Eos instead of a 250hp one would have been nice.

Re: ***2006 Volkswagen Eos***

I drove today a 200ps version and I can tell ya its a nice little devil, first three gears up to 140km/h was good enough for me to say its "more" than usual compact convertibles we used to see in past few years, also I find it very good looking.

For my taste I prefer 30ps more and shorter manual shifting which can be solved by some abt kit, ..........yes, I like it that much that I start to think to get one for my self...with abt kit for sure....

Re: ***2006 Volkswagen Eos***

A friend of mine in America just bought a VW Eos. I think he said it was a 2.0T!

Here's the pic he sent me.

EDIT: This actually happened during the summer!
