In Australia we have a name for cars like this... the poor mans bimmer or the poor mans merc... The honda accord is often called the poor mans bimmer... But this just takes the "poor" moniker to the next level... I mean atleast it should be safer then the cars coming out of china because to a degree has some mercedes engineering in it... Maybe thats neough for some people to buy the car.. the fact that underneath its an old mercedes benz...

Yep. But unlike the Chinese brands, Ssangyong is actually competitive, especially in Korea. And sadly there are people in Europe too who buy monstrosities like the Rodius. I mean even the name sends shivers down my spine. Here's what this thing looks like. Disgusting, eh?

The Rodius is really awful. And based on the W140 platform!!

But I am happy to present the only current car that can make a Rodius look not so bad: its little brop the Actyon.
Is it the car that BMW used as an inspiration for the X6? In that case, they really were much more inspired, because this looks disgusting and the X6 looks fabulous.

First time I saw an Actyon, I needed 30 minutes rest and a big mouth wash...

I still have some nightmares.

Yep, the Actyon...terrible. Terrible. What are their designers smoking? I'd really like to know.

When I lived in the Philippines I once had the chance to testdrive a Ssangyong Musso. The performance wasn't bad (2.9-l 5-cylinder Mercedes turbodiesel engine) and it drove nicely but man, that car was ugly.

Ssangyong Musso. Ewwwww....

They analyzed those three and created a previous generation E-class. Great stuff.
