Another Chinese blatant copy of a German design. As the old saying goes, Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. So there you have it - The SMA Hysoul (Hayshang): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's an odd attempt of a saloon (sedan) version of the old the Citroen ZX with a a cheap knock-off of Audi's one-piece single-frame grille. P.S: Europe never ever had a Sedan version of the Citroen ZX. The ZX Sedan was designed by Citroen exclusively for the Chinese market, where still is sold under the name of Dongfeng Fukang. The entire SMA range is based on the license-built old Citroen models by China's Dongfeng.

Re: Another Chinese blatant copy of a German design. I do feel sorry for those people living in China, most of them haven't seen any decent cars in their entire life, so this genetically multated Audi A4 is probably the best thing they have ever seen or owned.

Re: Another Chinese blatant copy of a German design. It's amazing how these poorly made Chinese cars can sell in Singapore. I thought they would fail terribly but to date they've captured most of the market who prefer to drive than to walk or take public transport. If you ask me, walking or public transport is better, and safer too!

Re: Another Chinese blatant copy of a German design. LMAO this is hilarious. But I bet it will only be a matter of 15-20 years when the Chinese manufacturers will be a force to reckon with. As the Koreans learnt quicker than the Japanese, the Chinese will learn quicker than the Koreans.
