Got this game on Tuesday and all I have to say is just WOW!

First of all the game looks phenominal, everything about it does, it really takes advantage of the 360's capabilities. The sound effects are also to die for, everything sounds so realistic especially if you have a good surround sound.

The single player is amazing so far, at first I made the mistake of picking the "realistic" difficulty setting, which is the hardest, and struggled to get past the first level. I switched to normal and am now a couple levels in and am more than hooked, the levels are long and challenging, and the single player gameplay has been extremely enhanced since past Rainbow Six titles, this is no longer a game just about multiplayer game play!

Speaking of multiplayer. I have spent the majority of my time playing on XBox Live because the gameplay is addicting and extremely fun. The essentials are pretty much the same as the other RB6 games but much more developed and polished. They have a new rank system in which the more you play, you gain experience and unlock more items and features in the multiplayer mode. There are many different game modes to cater to what ever you desire and are able to have fun for hours. Oh and your charcater is completly customizable, everything from the armor to the camo you wear, a feature I like.

Ultimately I would give this game a 9.5/10 it is simply mind blowing, and I believe with the tweaked gameplay it will appeal to more people and not just the hardcore fans of Tom Clancy who loved the ultra realistic slow paced gameplay of old. I think everybody who has the chance should definately check this game out, you'll love it.

By the way me and a friend completed gears of war on co-op split screen..
is that possible in Raibow Six?? Co-Op split screen and Split screen death match??

I've got one of the older versions of Rainbow Six for XBOX and love the game, this is most certaintly the only reason i want a XBOX 360.

Yup you can do co-op splitscreen in campaign and in terrorist hunt. Its great fun.

Well I finished the game yesterday and I am very pleased with the single player campaign it was a huge improvement over past Rainbow games and I had a lot of fun playing it. But I have been playing this on xbox live a lot more and am convinced this is the best xbox live game to come out for either 360 or the original xbox, it is simply phenomenal.

I cant wait for the sequal to this game either, talk about a cliff hanger...

im asking cause the game is releasing 1st dec in sweden..and i intend to buy it

You can play co-op in the campaign as well as terrorist hunt which isnt quite like deathmatch it is more like hunting a down a bunch of enemies, and this mode can become quite difficult and challenging.
