This is very bad but IMO, happening to all cars around. I don't want such things to happen and would love to shout at the company BUT I hate it when people start talking crap about only MB when infact all cars have such problems. One person got a transmission fault barely 5 minutes after delivery and that is recorded on M5Board.

P.S. I think these MBWorld people are loonys. At times theyre the most raging MB fans and then regarding these 63 cars, theyve gone all hyper and irritated just because MB made a better all-round drivers car minus the straight line performance.

my intention was not to bash just showing someone had bad luck with his car. Its well-known BMw having problems with SMG so nothing new here. Like you said, all cars has faults sometimes, including Toyota.

I agree with you. Just_me it would be nice if you posted a story where a M5 broke down for a change.

My intentions were not to question your posts. I just meant generally around the car forums right now, anything happening to MB is sacrilige and BMW's & Audi's etc. are just dismissed with an "Oh well shit happens".

Again, Just_me, it isn't posted towards you in any way. You didn't say "Ohh MB quality is going down the drain yada yada yada".

No offence JM, i was just joking. All companies have bad moments including Audi , BMW and Mercedes. Point is that when someone pays lots of money for a luxury brand he expects more in reliability and build quality than he would normally do with a cheap car. So when something like this happens the disappointment is big.
