Here it is! I finally found the article about the Singaporean W123 230E with over 1.4 million km on its odometer. At the time of writing, the date was April 2004, so he's bound to have put on a few extra km's on that baby.

Actually it's a late 1990 model and served me as daily and as the only drive for many many years. That's why.

Other that that, the car is intact, you can see it's age. After the last service it goes as good as it was 10 years ago, and the interior doesn't have any single fault, despite its age! Impressive i'd say. Note that it was Car of the Year 1991

PS. My dad has also a Renault as a daily drive and it is also very nice!

As you see i have something above 276.000km so soon it will be 280.000. I guess this time next year... Though, the car is in very good shape, both inside out. In the exterior there are no signs of age, apart from the hubcaps, but only if you take a closer look you will notice that they are some (actually many many) scratches.
In the interior, there are many signs of age, most of which are pretty obvious. First thing you notice is the cloth on the seats, it may be in good shape, but on the drivers seat it is pretty much worn out. The plastics are like brand new, which is impressive and very nice to see, for such a low price and old car. All controls work and even the Radio-Casette (Blaupunkt) is ok. Though the signal things on the steering wheel column are worn out. And so is the alarm switch. Other than that, the car is in very good shape. Last month i paid a nice 1200eur to repair the car so now it goes like...

The S60 is not as "traveled" as the Clio though

That's pretty impressive.

I like that Clio body style too. The current one isn't bad either, but the one before that and after yours was kind of lame looking.
