That's a shame, I was thinking of getting one, it's much better than any other phone on the market!

Have you used the GPS function, and tried using it for sat nav?

Samsung! Everything else sucks!

I have these two:

U600 (bought it 2 days ago)

And D900

Btw, all Nokia phones look great outside, but their software sucks from the day one!:

Re: Nokia 8600, Hot!!

Now this would make a great fashion phone, but i would better stick with my V3i

About the N95, i want one badly. I guess it costs around 700eur here and it's not the right time to spend money. I guess after the summer vacations i'll get me one to replace the 9300 i had before.

That seem to be what the situation is like these days Sasha. About a year ago I bought the Nokia 6280 which was during the time of purchase one of the best phones out there. On paper it was flawless and had just about anything you could want but in reality is turned out to be a worse buy than a French cars from the 90s.

The build quality wasn't good at all but was shadowed by the all the software problems. I ended up going through 3 handsets and so had other people I had talked to on the net. Just about everyone who owned one had a defect one. The phone had so many problems that it even was withdrawn from the market in the Netherlands.

These days Nokia and quality don't go hand-in-hand like ten years ago.

It's not just Nokia, I have an SE W800i and have had problems with using it as to play music, and considering it's a walkman phone, that's not very good! It seems to delete songs randomly, and I sent it away to get the firmware updated, and that made no difference, so I bought an iPod!

Also when I had a 6230, it was a brand new phone, and it kept turning off and freezing!

I think that phones these days have so many features, it's hard for phone companies to test them properly and get the new technology out quick enough to keep up with the market!

I had the 8801 James and let me tell you, it sucked! It's small and nice looking, but the reception is very poor. The selection buttons get sticky, are too small, and confusing. The metalic casing attracts finger prints like no body's business. I also didn't like it 'cause it didn't have a memory stick.
