Some of you gadget freaks have probably heard of or read about this extravaganza. It is the high of gadgets is a keyboard which consist of 105 independent OLED screens. The keys can be displayed be configured to show what ever you want. 400 will be made this year.

BTW: It cost 1 5000 dollar.

BTW Luw, are there keyboards with backlit keys so that you can see them better at night? Something a little more affordable than the one above...

unless you don't care about money, is it ever possible to justify spending so much on keyboard?

Yeah, saw that one. I think it said the price per key/button on keyboard is something like 15$...

I don't really understand why this thing costs so much!

I suppose people will buy it, if money's no object!

I can see only one use, if you speak different languages, and want to switch the keyboard between them!

Lets rephrase the question. Why would you not want it?

Beside making your friends drool the keyboard does have a very useful purpose. The whole idea of the keyboard is for it to change with which ever software you're using. If you're playing a game the letters will change into symbols representing different features or actions in the game. If you're using photoshop some of the symbols might turn into paint brushes, line draw etc.

Mirrage: Is it backlit? Hell yeah

If you ask me, I wouldn't mind receiving one this christmas
