THE Anti-virus/firewall/anti-spyware/anti-adware/anti-malware THREAD

So guys what to you know/think can recomand.

AV:
free AVG, Avast, AOL AV, BitDefender 8
comercial: NOD32, Kaspersky, F Secure

Anti-spyware/adware:
free: AVG anti-spyware, Spyware Terminator, Super AntiSpyware, Spyware Blaster, Ad-aware, Spybot SD.

What i recommand: Bitdefender 10, F-Secure and Kaspersky.
What i don't recommand: The internationally known big s**t: Norton.

Nod32 and Zonealarm works perfectly for me. I tried different programs and these two are the best IMO

For me, avast! free home edition is perfect for me... It is free, I think it is exellent and easy to use. I like the way when it finds a virus I think its cool

That is all I use...

P.S. can someone put up links on how to get these firewalls please.

What about NOD32, I know this has won tests year after year. NOD32 not inlcuded this time?

That was a firewall not AV test.
... or does NOD32 come with firewall ?!

NOD32 is indeed a top notch AV.

nah I dont think so (its just_me reading wrong). I use NOD32 for AV and Zonealarm as firewall

Anti-Spyware: a-squared, ZeroAntispyware, Spyware Sweeper (commercial version)


Note: Spyware Terminator used to be "rogue software", but isn't considered anymore (call me paranoid but I won't download their (Crawler) software)
