 | CLK63 AMG Black Series (NYC surprise) Yes Guys, this is the mysterious car to be shown in NYC show. Well, credit Mercedes-Benz for keeping us on our toes. Via Autoblog.nl comes word that the NYIAS surprise car might not be the - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER, as we've been assuming. When the embargo lifted on the uber-coupe earlier in the week, we figured that it wass, in all probability, the - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. That's all in question right now, as Autoblog.nl has acquired leaked and apparently official images of the to-be-released CLK63 AMG Black Series, a limited-production street version of the 2007 Formula 1 safety car. | Re: CLK63 AMG Black Series (NYC surprise) Yup, and don't expect it to weigh 1600 kgs like the CLK F1 pace car with it's carbon fiber panels and such. That would simply jack up the price and put it in contention with the creme de la creme that is the DTM. |

| Re: CLK63 AMG Black Series (NYC surprise) it will be lighter than the ordinary CLK63 though...if the SLK was 45 kg lighter,this one will be around 100 lighter,i think.The power isnt relevant because this engine has a huge potential,even not supercharged,i think it can easily reach 100 bhp/litre...on the next generation...and judging by its driving dynamics,this car will be the best benz on the racetrack...thats enough for me  |
