2008 Mercedes-Benz A-Class

Scanned from Autobild. This could be the 2008 A-Class facelift. Notice how the grille in this photoshop closely resembles the grille of the facelifted W211 E-Class.

Overall, this photoshop looks pretty good. The current A-Class is a fun car to drive.

Re: 2008 Mercedes-Benz A-Class

Front looks much better with the bigger lights and the grill appearing to be more upright and more in your face. Unfortunately, can't say I like the rear lights still.

Re: 2008 Mercedes-Benz A-Class

Looks more sporty, I agree!

BTW, is the A class a sales success, I hardly see any of them, especially when I compare them to the 1er! (maybe I just block out MBs from my site! )

Re: 2008 Mercedes-Benz A-Class

the only thing i never became 100% convinced of in the current A-class is the rear, which they can;t really change too much in the facelift anyway. otherwise i think it's a great car, and from what i remember has been selling well.

anyone have some sales figures on it in europe?

It is a sales success in Europe, also in the UK. You can't judge a car sales success just by noting the number of them you see on the road though.

BTW, the A-Class and 1-Series don't compete.

The A-Class is available as a two door and also four door. The B-Class is only available as a four door.

Couldn't find any. AMS though mentioned about a year ago that the A and B-Classes were in high demand - more than the facelifted W203 C-Class.
