Wendland Porsche Cayman RS

German tuners Wendland, have created an RS version of the Cayman, giving it the power it’s been craving all along.

Their upgrade is based around a 997 Carrera S engine, tweaked to give 385 bhp. Performance is respectable, with the Cayman RS hitting 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and 125 mph in 16 seconds. Top speed is 170 mph.

Exterior changes are pretty subtle, with the addition of a carbon rear wing and a set of tasty 19 inch BBS rims.

Re: Wendland Porsche Cayman RS

I'm glad to posted this because i knew little about it, all i knew is that it had a faster 18 metre slalom time than the Carrera GT or Zonda F

Sport Auto's peformance figures for this vehicle were:

0-100 km/h: 4.6
0-160 km/h: 10.3
0-200 km/h: 15.7

1:13.4 on the Hockenheim

Amazing little car

Yep, that means it's just above the M3 CSL and a little behind the F430 and 996 GT3.

Re: Wendland Porsche Cayman RS

These tuners show us the true potential of the Cayman. With barely just around 400hp the car does serious damanage. The Cayman is almost a super car held back by Porsche. Porsche has created a monster which would with 450hp easily beat most sports car on any track.

Re: Wendland Porsche Cayman RS

I don't understand why Porsche not introduce a Cayman RS by them self with a 3824cc 355 hp engine.

Hans.

Re: Wendland Porsche Cayman RS

Probably they think it would be too big competition to 997.
