| Porsche Cayman S by Strosek ![]() 380 hp / 280 kW for the Porsche Cayman S DRIVING DESIGN is the trademark of Vittorio Strosek. Now an exclusive STROSEK Individual Program is also available for the new Porsche Cayman S. It includes striking and aerodynamically efficient body components: Engine tuning with up to 380 hp / 280 kW, custom-tailored light-alloy wheels with 19- and 20-inch diameters and precision-calibrated suspensions lend the mid-engine sports car even better handling characteristics. To give the Cayman S an even more striking front and to reduce lift on the front axle STROSEK DESIGN has developed an innovative, modular solution: The production front apron is refined with a two-piece front spoiler with integrated air dams for the front brakes. For further improved front aerodynamics there is an additional center airfoil that like all other STROSEK body components is manufactured in OEM quality from PU-Rim material. | Re: Porsche Cayman S by Strosek Seems like a lot of tuners are working on the Cayman, you may find it to be cheaper than a 911 with the same amount of power! |

| Re: Porsche Cayman S by Strosek Flaming hot!! It really isn't suprising that tuners have gotten their teeth into the cayman. It is an awsome ride and they are taking care of it's major drawback which is lack of power. |

| Re: Porsche Cayman S by Strosek I think you mean will it handle like the 911! From what I've heard the Cayman is better than the 911 on these terms, because it's more balanced, due to the engine not being in the back! Also it's smaller and lighter! |

| Re: Porsche Cayman S by Strosek It seems that many articles I've gone through concur with BMW_Dude, they say the Cayman does handle "better" in that its more balanced than the 911. I wouldn't know until I drove it, but it is apparently easier to drive well in the Cayman. Its more forgiving for novice drivers like myself, which is why this car appeals to me so much. However, the 911 seems to win in comparos because its more of a "rawer" driving car, its not as easy to master the dynamics of the 911, but mastering it offers more driving pleasure....and the passion...oh the passion. I think Porsche knows how well they made the Cayman, and thats why they water down the engines because for most people, they won't need the Carrera or CarreraS when they can rock in a Cayman for like $30k less. The conversion just gets you the displacement and power of the the CarreraS, which is plenty to get you into sub 5-sec 0-60 land. Oh yeah, that body kit is pretty hott too :-D |
