Disapointed...

Monday on my way home from work I saw a silver Cayman S part of the way. The car looked very trivial in the real life. It was like I knew it was a Porsche, but that was it, no real stir of emotion. Not so pretty afterall.

It looked too tall and not low enough to be a Porsche.

Re: Disapointed...

The Cayman you speak of?

Well well. The other day it was my fathers birthday and I decided to go with my girlfriend to buy him a cake. When I showed up at the place to buy him a cake there was a brand new cayman parked close by. That thing was beautiful. Then again I didn't see it on the road so my perception of it was not of one that could be intepreted as "high from the ground" since it wasn't on the road and I was standing next to it.

Once disgustingly sexy machine!

Re: Disapointed...

I just don't "get" the Cayman - I don't understand why it was necessary at all.

If I owned a Cayman I would always be dreaming of owning a 911.

Well, isn't that saying as well that, "If I owned a E-Class, I would always be dreaming of a S-Class?"

From what I infer, are you to say that the Cayman is without any discernable merits over the 911?

Re: Disapointed...

I saw one at Frankfurt, and it didn't really stand out, looked pretty similar to the 91 from the front, although I didn't take a great amount of time looking at it!

Re: Disapointed...

Well, I've seen it IRL, it looks pretty good. I won't talk about if it is worth to 'be a Porsche' cause IMO, it is.
