| Re: 19" LCD monitors Since Sony has a big back pack with experience from making TV monitors their computer screens tend to be exceptionally good. Their laptop screens are top notch and judging by the looks of that sexy screen I can only assume that it has the picture quailty you would expect from Sony. One question though, why don't you buy a wide screen monitor? I'm currently sitting on my laptop which is has a 17 inch 16:10 screen. Ever since I bought it I have absolutley no problems with large resolution pictures and barely ever need to scroll side ways. I prefer it over my 19 inch CRT montior which is hooked up to my desktop. |

| Re: 19" LCD monitors The value is with Samsung, and their screens are terrific. Really, it's hard to go wrong with almost any brand right now. Just consider that there's a very limited amount of LED OEMs, and Samsung is one of them. They've invested an incredible amount of capital into becoming a dominant force in LCD production, so you're reaping a good amount of somebody else's sweat when you buy one of their screens. |
