Thanks for the efforts and reply. Unfortunately it looks like the artico/leather seats. I am trying to get realistic pics of the "reef grey" leather. in most pics the lighting is not ideal as the black dash comes out greyish which "I think" makes the grey look lighter.

In the w203 series there was the "apalco grey", I am told the reef grey is darker. Can anyone confirm this?

I must be behind the ball, as it just struck me that there is a difference in the colour combination the way it is laid out, between the Elegance and Avantgarde.

I note that with the Reef Grey/Black in the Elegance, the carpets, seating, centre transmission tunnel, bottom half of the dashboard, are all 'reef' grey. The only black to be seen in photos is the top half of the dashboard and the door cappings.

Conversly, the Avantgarde appears to get the two tone Black/Reef Grey dash, but the transmission tunnel, carpets and part of the door trims are black also.

I must be going blind or something not to have noticed it before...

I must admit I do like the Avantgarde colour scheme....
