When you think Alpina and color, what comes 1st to your mind? Blue, nothing but blue! As it was for ages! And this green...?

Both colours debuted in 1981 (It was a limited edition first)! And the first Alpina Green doesn't looks so well...

So, it wasn't a famous colour and cars with "Alpina Green I" are extremely rare. So, I think that's the reason, why Alpina Blue is more famous and everybody knows this colour.

Nevertheless the "Alpina Green II" looks much better, in my opinion.

IMO, Alpina Green, both I and II are classy and classic greens! Just like the British Racing Green! (i think used in the DBR9 and other AMs and Jaguars)

As about the Alpina: Green vs Blue i would go for the blue, because it looks better in my eyes (not that the green is not nice, but...) and because it's just more recognisable as Tycoon already noted....

PS. Thanks for the history lesson! I was pretty sure the green was also very "old"
