Top looks a bit better in that picture. Even though I still have issues with the top I will say this will certainly be the best cabrio out there to date.

Re: E93 pic thread

Looks great. Now that I'm used to the atypical for BMW c-pillar I can really appreciate how the hardtop appears thin and light.

I can't wait to see one in black, and I can't wait to somehow rationalize this car into my budget. My brain has been sucked into the "must have now vortex."

I'm sure his entire list of E93's weaknesses has to do with E92 vs E93 - weak points regarding to E92.

Re: E93 pic thread

^yea it was E92 v. E93.

But in essence they did sacrifice weight when they decided to follow everyone else with a folding hard top roof.

Also where are the L.E.Ds?

Re: E93 pic thread

LED's where???

The weight penalty is negligible, acceleration times are only slightly slower than the E92. I'm most curious about what this will mean for an M3 convertible, if there is to be one? I remember someone (maybe Scott27) saying that there would be a folding Carbon Fiber roof, sound cool, but I don't know how well that will work out in the real world, especially safety wise??? Overall, despite the somewhat oddly shaped roof, the E93 is a winner in my book, though I'd probably never buy one (not a "down top" kinda guy).
