Funny you say this, looking at the pre face lift 7, it's design is aging very well IMO. Love it! Especially when equipeed w/ the old sport package. The 3er is an icon, always will be. The love of my life!

Yes, actually I never had any complaints about the pre-facelift 7. Always liked it.

Re: E90 3er pic thread

Looking at the pics of the E46 FL 330i ZHP w/ the E90 330i sprt. next to it, it looks more like the E90 is a revolutionary, concept car approach to the design and heritage of the 3 series. I'll be especially interested to see what improvements or new substance will be added to the FL'd E90, and then the next generation model. But on point w/ the topic of in mind, the E90's design isn't nearly as solid as that of the E46, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's more a question of transition from model to model and the changes that accompany the new one. One thing I wish BMW refrained from doing, (though very small, but noticable to the true BMW aficianado) is seperating the grill from the hood. It doesn't look very tasteful to leave the uppper slats intergrated into the hood and the rest in the bumper. Another thing that bugs me are the orange turn indicators, which can easily be cured, but why spend the money and time on euro clear corners when they can intergrate smaller and more obscure DOT signals into the bumper, as on the FL N/A spec Z4? Either way, I love the E90, and more likely than not, this will be my next car(if not the next generation, should things turn out that way).

Re: E90 3er picture thread

I know you could buy all the M sport pack parts seperately here in the U.S. through BMW acessories, but I really think that they should just make this an optional package just like they do on the Euro mkt. cars. What do you guys think?

Having an M sport pack and no ZSP would make the option of a "sport package" upgrade really expensive. I think M pack in addt. to an optional ZSP pack would help keep things affordable.
