The front sure looks interesting. I think it's the angle of the shot that's making it look funky. I like the idea, but in that shot it appears as though the car is "making a really dumb face." Can't wait to see in person!

On a ever so slightly related note - I ran into a 3er Cabrio test mule today while I was out driving the new Jag XK Coupe. (Photos and pseudo-review comin... If I can ever get away from this desk!)

Don't forget Osna.. You have that Aston & Porsche review still under wraps!

I know. I feel like such a cad for not finishing that thing. I just kept typing... and typing... and typing...

I'm gonna have to finish up that Aston DB9 vs 911 review before I post anything about the new XK because my opinions on those cars are intertwined.

For comparison:

E92 "M" aerodynamic front lip spoiler...

Hartge front lip spoiler for the E90 sedan...

The flaps on both sides of the front spoilers are very similar to one another in design, just one has a bit more length in the side flaps than the other w/ a slightly different curveture going in towards the central air intake. The only thing seperating the two is the rather large central air intake in the front bumper of the E92 w/ the aero kit, otherwise I'm sure these two would look exactly the same.

There's a super-sculptedness of the BMW lip that reminds me of that funny weapon the Klingons would use on Star Treck. It's pretty extreme, but I recon it'll look really nice in person.

Now I'm thinking... with an add-on so extreme, what's the M3 gonna look like?!

I like the sport package but not the rear spoiler. I might buy one in a year or two.

Id be looking at about 4-5 grand. Not a problem seeing as I live at home still and dont have any bills to pay.

I love BMW's, its either them or audi, but I just dont like it when people go on as if theyre god like

I dont think anyone think bimmer cars are like god but they are great cars and extremly many people around the world love them. But of course BMW got disadvantages just like Audi and Mercedes.
