| Re: Official Pontiac G8 Pictures Yep, in this class. You see up until the Chrysler 300C came along we had no modern, RWD, V8 American performance sedans. This car (if priced and specced right) is going to be the hottest thing from GM in years. M |

| Re: Official Pontiac G8 Pictures Quote:
As far as it not being a Chevy there are 2 reasons. First off Pontiac lost its last big sedan, the Bonnieville a few years ago and GM is not happy with the Grand Prix model either. So eventually (according to lastest news sites) the G8 is going to replace both of them while helping take Pontiac completely RWD. Chevy has a much better selling upper-segment sedan, the Impala which was just re-designed for 2006 so the G8 is too early. The next Impala is rumored to move over this new RWD platform too. Also from what I've read the Aussie plant doesn't have the capacity to supply more than 40K units and Chevy would need at least 5 times that as they GM's biggest selling name plate. That is if they were to replace the Impala with a G8 type vehicle. Now by 2010 they're going to switch production of this new RWD platform to a plant here (or Canada) anyway. This also goes for the G8, if sales take off. M | |

| Re: Official Pontiac G8 Pictures YW. They're saying 2010 as a 2011 model. GM usually re-designs their bestsellers every 5 years. M |
