Truth! The problem for some is the trademark front grill, if that's what has to chance for you like it, then there's no need for you to get your hopes up!

Most people like Audi designs. Some would like them if designs were a bit more vivid & dynamic (visually challenging). Eg. me.

But the most criticism on Audi design targets too similar styling across the model line - the sameness between models is too excessive.

Once in the past MB & BMW were also criticized for using the same design strategy.

I'm sure A4 will look more than fine. Even A5-like look is not a problem. But when / if A3 cabrio, Q5, A6 FL comes with A5-like tail light & headlight design that will make the cars less special.

IMO Audi is already a matured brand, so "cloning" is really unnecessary. But I guess that's Audi's design strategy, and is here to stay.

I know, I know EnI, you've been raising this issue for a while now! But it's strange, I've yet to here this criticism from any of the different media outlets. I guess I'm just not looking hard enough.

I like the A5 so I will probably like A4 too, I liked the previous A4 and I was thinking of buying one.

Audi designs are of flowing non fussy lines. I dont want them to become more visually challenging. Audi's have always been minimalistic.
